The Heat Wave

The team at Kyle R. C. Perry Heating & Plumbing Ltd have been very busy during the heat wave. Last week we were in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, installing a new ensuite for a lovely couple. The installation consisted of a new toilet, basin, basin unit, basin tap, shower, and shower enclosure. We also professionally silicone sealed the new ensuite upon completion. The customers were over the moon with the finish, as were we. The customers were lovely, and ensured we stayed well hydrated during the heat wave! Check out some of the images below.
With summer upon us, and heat waves becoming more frequent, it’s incredibly unlikely that any of us will be using our heating system. However, our long hot summers can have a negative impact on our heating systems,- well, not the summer itself, but the extended periods of not using our heating! Heating systems contain many movable components, which can become seized when not used for long periods of time. That’s why our engineers at Kyle R. C. Perry Heating & Plumbing Ltd advise you to turn your heating on and check for correct operation at least once throughout the summer. Running your heating can get the components moving, preventing them from seizing. We get a lot of calls leading up to winter when people start turning their heating on and discover it isn’t working. Discovering a fault with your heating in the summer will allow adequate time for the fault to be rectified, before you find yourself in a cold home waiting extended periods for busy heating engineers to arrive!
